My annual shoot with Hector, Kanga Roo, Skittles, Brandon and Brownie!

This family is one of my best clients, as they’ve hired me the past three years in a row to take photos of their pet family. The first year we did Fort Funston, and the next year we shot at Crissy Field, so this year we decided to try the shoot at Golden Gate Park. We started out with the cats at home, which includes the very special Kanga Roo from Saving Grace Rescue. She was born with deformed front paws, but uses them just like regular paws and is very sweet and always gives the best face licks in photos. They also have an orange tabby named Hector, but as you’ll see below he was not into the photo shoot at all. Finally there’s Queen Skittles, which is always a total character and is great for photos. She’s a tabby girl who has been there the longest, so she mentors the other cats.

They also have two Flat Coat Retriever who are BFFs and are adorable together. They went absolutely crazy when we took their leashes off at the park, and were having the time of their lives. We took photos of the dogs and my clients, Joyce and Chris. They are such a wonderful family 🙂

I was also lucky enough to take a few photos of a beautiful senior girl named Bella. She was very sweet and gentle, and I felt so lucky to have been able to spend a short time with her.

What’s this? Oh yeah, this foster kitten followed me around the whole time. Her name is Liz 🙂
