Dog Photography with Buddy the Adorable Pekingese Mix

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again – a dog photography photo shoot (or cat) is the BEST gift you could possibly give someone! Imagine their surprise when learning they’ll be receiving amazing photos of their best friend? Photos last a lifetime, so it’s truly a gift that keeps on giving. This photo shoot I did with Buddy was a gift, presented to him, by his good friend who I met at an event for Wag Hotels. She booked the shoot and I arranged a date and time with Buddy’s daddy. When he sent me a photo of Buddy I knew we were in for a great time because he was ridiculously cute.

We did the shoot in Emeryville, right along the water with San Francisco in the background. Buddy was beyond adorable, and loved having his picture taken. The funniest part was ever 20 minutes or so other dogs would arrive at the grassy area where we were, and Buddy would chase and play with all of them. We ended the shoot at sunset, with Buddy silhouetted against a gorgeous sky. It was truly a night to remember, and thanks so much to Buddy’s dad for helping me with the shoot, and to his friend for giving him this awesome gift! Without further ado, here’s Buddy 🙂
