Puppy Photos with Lulu the German Shepherd

Everyone loves puppies, especially dog photographers like myself!  They are so much fun, and are always full of energy and excitement. So when I got an email inquiring about taking some puppy photos of a beautiful six-month old German Shepherd puppy named Lulu, I couldn’t wait!

We met at Crissy Field on a beautiful morning and I was so excited, because Lulu looked amazing. She is about six months old, and has a gorgeous Sable coat that’s unlike any coloring I’ve seen before. I actually grew up with a German Shepherd, so they are one of my favorite dog breeds.

We started with some action shots of Lulu on Crissy Field and it was so much fun because we had the entire field all to ourselves! Lulu darted all over the freshly cut grass chasing balls and obeying commands. Even though she’s a puppy she was very well-trained, and she was very easy to work with. We finished the shoot at a nearby spot in an effort to capture her radiance in a more subdued location. I just love her Sable coat, and dark streaks on her paws.
