Pet Pride Behind the Scenes

For this year’s Pet Pride event on Rescue Row I was asked to take some photos of the volunteers at Animal Care & Control (ACC) showing them going about their duties. I’ve been a volunteer at ACC for about five years now and am always in awe at this dedicated group of individuals who volunteer their free time on weekends to make sure the dogs, cats, rats, bunnies, hamsters, guinea pigs, and chickens of ACC have some companionship. They are an amazing group of people, working together to help these incredible animals. Without these volunteers, ACC couldn’t operate the way it does given its limited budget and small staff. Here are just a few of the photos I took of this awesome group of folks (and a few of the animals too)!
