Tail of 20 Cities!
This is my city, and this is my dog; Gertie. She’s 13 years old and full of life, even though she was adopted at the ripe old age of 11. I took this photograph of her in front of the Golden Gate Bridge because it’s the quintessential Bay Area location! It is the number one most-requested photo shoot location, and it’s absolutely gorgeous, when Karl the fog doesn’t show up that is. You have the beautiful green grass of Crissy Field, the beautiful blue sky, and then in the background the stunning red bridge looming over the Golden Gate! I love shooting here, and was so happy to get Gertie flying through the grass.
This photo shoot was because I’m participating in Rover.com’s Tail of 20 Cities, celebrating my amazing dog Gertie, and my unique city along with 19 other photographers from around the world. Check out all of the photographs here, and feel free to join the fun by posting your own pic of your pooch repping your city with the hashtag #RoverCities!
