A top-secret shoot with Simone!

In December of 2014 I had one of the most amazing photo shoots of my career as a dog photographer. A previous client of mine loved the images from her session so much that she wanted to give her friend a photo session as a birthday present, but she wanted it to be a surprise. She knew her friend’s dog sitter, so she arranged to “steal” the dog one morning long enough to complete a photo session with me! We coordinated our timing, and I met her and the our dog hostage Simone at one of my favorite locations – Crissy Field in San Francisco.

We didn’t have a whole lot of time since we had to get the dog back to the sitter, so we worked quickly. Simone was a perfect dog model and not only jumped around and frolicked in the grass, she looked amazing with her curly fur and it contrasted nicely with the green grass and the red bridge.

Once it was all complete and the photos were edited, I made a photo book for her to give to her friend on her birthday. Imagine her surprise opening a package to find a book of photos for a photo session of your own dog! I wish I could have been there to see it in person!
